What’s the most informative book you’ve read recently?

That’s a tough one. I deal with factual texts all day long in my work, so I don’t currently really want to read nonfiction in my spare time.

Still, I’d have to say that I’ve learned quite a lot about the Renaissance Venice from Dave Duncan’s Alchemist -series and something about gravity and its effects on the human body from Schroeder’s Virga books even though they are steampunk.

Generally, in fiction I often learn something about other cultures and the way that other people think. In fact, I’d say it’s pretty hard to read and *not* to learn anything.
