My newest review: Dark Light of Day by Jill Archer.
This was a very hard book to rate. The setting, the laws involving both humans and demons, and the magic system are quite imaginative and I really enjoyed them. However, instead of the mystery promised in the blurb, the book turned out to be a coming-of-age story and a romance. Sadly, I don’t really care for either. I ended up giving it three and half stars from five.
