The High Summer read-a-thon hosted by The True Book Addict has ended and it went well for me.
I managed to finish Raymond Rose’s The Fire Inside and
Astonishing X-Men vol. 3: Torn.
I read Elizabeth Bear’s All the Windwracked Stars and started The Sword of Damocles by Geoffrey Throne. I also wrote reviews for the books I completed. All this despite having a stressful work week and having a, thankfully short-lived, phone malfunction.
Also, my brother visited me yesterday and we had a great time swimming and relaxing in the nearby island. Even though I’ve lived here for years, this was the first time I visited the Viikinsaari Island.

Great job, Mervi! It’s an accomplishment to get that much read when you had a busy week. I hope you enjoyed the read-a-thon and that you will join me for my Fall read-a-thon in October. It will be a scary theme!

Thanks! I’ll certainly see if I have the time to participate in October.
